INSTRUMENTAL – FOR THEATRE – FOR FILMS – INTERDISCIPLINARY PERFORMANCES – NEWS – CONCERTS ARCHIVES
Patricia Bosshard is the author of the jingles for Lausanne’s M2 metro system. She was commissioned to compose by Pro Helvetia and won the best experimental album MRI with Simon Grab (Qwartz Paris). She is conducting research on the extension of the instrument by electronics and on the link between gestures and sensors, with Dragos Tara.
Alongside this research, she performs as a performer emphasising the physicality of the body in relation to sound (acrobatics, dance).
Patricia is a member of and collaborates with various ensembles for which she composes, including ONCEIM (Paris), Grand Eustache (French-speaking Switzerland), the LGBS quartet (Geneva), CoÔ (Paris), CH.AU (Vevey) and GGRIL (Quebec). She plays with internationally renowned musicians such as Xavier Charles, the Icosikaihenagone ensemble, Luc Müller, Bertrand Gauguet, Jonas Kocher, Jacques Demierre, Hans Koch, Louis Laurain and the IMO orchestra.
Since 1998, Patricia has worked on interdisciplinary and experimental projects, notably with video artist Nicolas Wintsch (Cie Dynamo) and sound designer Simon Grab.
She regularly writes music for theatre, including for Dorian Rossel’s Cie STT, Valérie Poirier’s Cie Agénor and the A.C. Moser company. Patricia has been artist-in-residence at the Steim Institute (Amsterdam), 102 (Grenoble), Pantographe (Moûtiers) and Hors-Normes (Le Lieu).
